Kitchen Remodel

This kitchen remodel located in the Gulf Harbor Community in Fort Myers has custom cabinets designed by Dwayne Bergmann Interiors and provides plenty of counter top space with the new addition of the island. The kitchen has sleak clean lines and coordinates nicely with the new porcelain tile flooring.

We re-designed the outdoor kitchen for this client to have a peninsula added to provide more counter top space for entertainment. The cabinets are made of outdoor resistant material from moisture and sun. The larger hood extracts more of the heat from the grill to provide for more comfortable grilling. We used the same granite from the counter tops for the entire backsplash for this outdoor kitchen.

We worked with the design team on how to best open the kitchen but still have enough wall space for the kitchen cabinets and appliances. We came up with the idea of having a 9-foot wall which allowed us to utilize the entire kitchen space and have room on the other side for the bar area. The high vaulted ceilings allowed us to achieve it.

Before & After

Gulf Harbor home outdoor kitchen before the re-design and remodel. They had no counter top area for guest to sit and the layout was not conducive for entertaining with guests.

Bar Area

The homeowners still wanted to have a bar area to entertain family and friends. The design was to build a custom bar on the other side of the kitchen 3/4 wall with a prep sink and under cabinet refrigerator. The designer created a backsplash pattern and a mirrored tile on the front side of the bar that we installed to add a beautiful touch to it.

Exterior Painting

The remodel of this home encompassed both the interior and exterior. We repainted the exterior of the home and trim to give it an updated curbside look to match the newly remodeled interior.
