It was a lot of fun working with the owners in creating a large, spacious open kitchen layout. The large island with countert top overhang is a central part of the family’s entertaining and allows you to be a part of the party while people are in the living room area. The counter to ceiling ceramic mosaic tile adds a nice backdrop to the overall kitchen design. The open shelving really allows this decorative back splash to stand on its own. The light quartz counter tops work very nicely with the shaker style white kitchen cabinets.. We incorporated a lot of lighting including the three pendant lights as the kitchen does not have its own window and gets limited natural light.
The owner wanted to an enclosed lanai-type space that they could have a formal dining room area to enjoy sit down dinners with family and friends. They wanted to create the feel that you were enjoying the outside warm weather by having lots of windows they could open on those cooler days to allow fresh air. However, they also wanted to be able to have AC to still be able to enjoy their Florida Sunroom on those hot days as well. We made the ceilings vaulted to make the room feel better and installed custom trim with bead board on the ceiling. We really liked the herringbone pattern of the vinyl planking flooring. The type of vinyl planing they selected has a special type of glue grout that makes it look like tile flooring.
The owners of this home wanted a large vanity to provide his and her sinks along with a make-up area. We designed a large walk-in shower with tempered showered glass doors and coordinate the tile design to match with the selected color of the vanity. The shower design included a corner seat design.
The use of the white chippendale railings with the Azek gray composite decking really provided a nice color combination with the coral blue ceiling.
